Rich & Sheri Rosendahl

We are based in Des Moines, IA where we have developed a network of friendships among the thousands of neighbors in our city who have arrived as refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.

The Nations is dedicated to peace and humanitarian work - domestically and abroad - with our amazing neighbors who are refugees. Domestically we work to welcome, love, advocate for and develop network of friendships among our refugee neighbors while helping them navigate this new life in the U.S. through forming genuine relationships.

We also informally assist individuals and organizations across the US who desire to connect with Refugees from the Middle East and North Africa in their own communities, offering a formal training program based on a method we developed called LLT.

Our passion for Loving our neighbors has also taken us oversees to Love, serve and learn from Refugees in places like; UNHCR Choucha Refugee Camp near the Libyan Border, Aida Refugee Camp in Palestine, the Syrian border, and Najaf and Nasiriyah, Iraq.

This includes bringing teams via our Middle East Encounter Program in which we travel abroad to Love, serve and learn from our refugee neighbors while bringing much medical supplies. You can learn more about the next opportunity to join us by clicking here.
